Exhibition

The exhibition takes you on a journey through the history of our hockey. It offers a collection of our national team’s finest moments from the tentative beginnings in the 1930s to today’s success. Alongside the national ice hockey team Finland, Leijonat, the stars of domestic rinks and professional ice shine through their artifacts.

The Hall of Fame and award area highlights the ennobled Jääkiekkoleijonat and the legendary awards of Finnish hockey.

The museum features two simulators. You can test your shooting skills or try your hand at being a goalie!

Jääkiekkoleijonat

Since 1985 the most merited ice hockey players, coaches, referees and influencers have been inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame Finland. These “Jääkiekkoleijonat” are listed in chronological order. The board of the Hockey Hall of Fame Finland association appoints the members for the inductin committee. The members need to have extensive knowledge of both Finnish and international ice hockey’s past and present. Up to six persons are inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame Finland annually. Personal histories are only in Finnish, but please ask the staff to provide information regarding them.
